a week agoThis was a good old time restaurant. It was very busy which is always a good sign. I was pleasantly surprised at the food prices. The greens were delicious. I could see why locals eat there often

2 months agoMy parents go there and seemed to really like it. They ended up treating me since it was cash only. The Food was great. Prices ok for nowadays. I'd fix up the place a bit but I am ocd and like to decorate. I would recommend the place. I want to try their breakfast one day.

5 months agoI love this place for all kinds of reason the best bang for your buck anywhere in Caldwell County they have the absolute best country food there is from breakfast to lunch and there burgers are mad with real meat lol there lunch menu is on a huge chalkboard of there daily specials the food is scrumdilly umptious if you there is a special thing they have called a cream horn crystal makes them there in high demand and low supply I buy a box full to give to my doctors and friends the box they come in is pretty cool but crystal makes all kinds of sweets but what makes this place the best is everyone who works there and all the folks that visit here makes you feel like family.P.S. Those Cream Horns she makes are for me folks there all mine so please folks the 2 days a week we can get them can you leave some for me huh can you huh I am just asking for a friend.

a year agoVery busy place and the service was fast. The food was very good and well priced. I'm over 500 miles from home and would return if in the area again.

4 years agoCash or check only, and menus don’t reflect current prices…really??? Still great value on country cooking, and friendly service. The western omelette and french toast and apples were excellent. Need to upgrade the menus and napkins. Thank you from your Arizona friends 😎😇🙏
